  • The rules fit on a single sheet of paper, yet this game is a cardboard carnival ride for the mind. The challenge Dixit sets in front of you – be mysterious in your description, but not too mysterious – is so utterly unlike anything you’ll ever have been forced to do before as to be almost nauseating.

  • This game is also very playable in any language. Even sign language. […] Teachers and educators can use this game to stimulate short story writing, impromtu speech practice, or as a psychology experiment to demonstrate how people think based on what they hear. Truly fantastic.

  • This is probably my #1 recommendation for a family game, since it promotes and rewards creativity and levels the intellectual playing field through its clever and elegant mechanics and scoring. […] I consider it a low-key standard bearer of the modern hobby along with a handful of others.
